Tri-Kap is the oldest locally recognized fraternity in the country!

A message from our President & Vice President:

On July 13, 1842, the Kappa Kappa Kappa Fraternity at Dartmouth College was born. Today in 2009, more than one-hundred-sixty-six years later, we remain as strong and vibrant as ever. We are proud to be the second-oldest local fraternity in the nation, we are proud to be the first truly Dartmouth fraternity, and we are proud to call ourselves Tri-Kaps.

Our Webmaster, Tan Chen '11, is now working on updating this website. We will soon provide updated pictures of the brotherhood and a walking tour of the house. We also have a fantastic blog that you can read to keep up-to-date on the Brotherhood. We also have included links to our most recent editions of "The Kappa Pillar".

As you may know, our house is currently working on plans to meet the requirements of the Fuller Audit that will shape our physical plant and our brotherhood for the next century. We are always looking for Tri-Kap alumni who are interested in engaging in the process; if you would like to receive more information please write us at TriKap@Dartmouth.edu. Also, if you are planning on visiting Dartmouth, please let us know beforehand so we can have a Brother welcome you back to 1 Webster Avenue. We encourage you to stop by and visit with faces both old and new in the Hallowed Halls of Tri-Kap.

From the current generation of Kappas to all who came before, please enjoy our new website!

And above all, congratulations to this year's Seniors!

Whereas:

This society was founded in a spirit of protest against the shams of Aristocracy,

and Whereas:

Since the beginning Kappa Kappa Kappa has stood for all that is best in Dartmouth Brain and Brawn and Spirit,

We believe:

That Kappa Kappa Kappa is the first truly Dartmouth fraternity.

We believe:

That Kappa Kappa Kappa has been a bulwark for Dartmouth traditions of Democracy, Loyalty, and Service.

We take just pride

In the achievements of this society

and We resolve,

That the future must reflect the past.

We pledge ourselves, therefore and solemnly affirm that

We will work for every project for the welfare of Tri-Kappa, for promoting its ideals, for upholding its fair name.
